Protecting Our Families.

Preserving Our Communities.

I have spent 25 years as a prosecutor protecting our community and working inside the criminal justice system.  I see what works and more importantly, what needs to work better. For most of my career, I advocated for ways to take the hurdles out of the justice system, and to give options for people to make their lives better and for communities to be safer. I have always supported law enforcement, but also see a need for better training and resources—especially for mental health, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases—so we respond to people the right way. I want Fort Mill’s tax dollars focused on what matters most: strong schools, safe roads, and smart infrastructure. And I’ll work to protect our community from dangerous industrial development while preserving the safe, welcoming town families moved here for. My goal is simple: keep Fort Mill safe, strong, and a great place to raise a family.

Jenny Desch For House

Meet Jenny

Born an Air Force brat and the daughter of educators, I grew up with a deep appreciation for service, community, and the importance of strong schools. For 25 years as a prosecutor—and as a mom of two daughters—I have dedicated my life to protecting families and giving back to the place we call home.

Fort Mill is where my family lives, serves, and grows together, and it is why I’m committed to helping keep our community safe, strong, and thriving for everyone.

My Campaign Vision

Safeguard Public Education

Invest in education from daycare and Pre-K through graduation, while protecting the strength and identity of Fort Mill schools. Keep resources focused on the community’s top-tier public education system.

Advocate for Responsible Growth & Safe Development

Protect neighborhoods and schools by being proactive about development. Keep large, dangerous industrial operations away from residential areas and ensure growth happens safely and responsibly.

Preserve the Spirit of Fort Mill

Keep Fort Mill the kind of place families want to call home – safe neighborhoods, great schools, hardworking people, and a welcoming Southern community spirit.

Support Tax Dollars That Work for YOU

Focus taxpayer money where it has the greatest impact – roads, infrastructure, schools, and public safety.  Stop wasteful or performative policies.

Promote Safe Communities, Smarter Policing

Support law enforcement while strengthening training and intervention for domestic violence and sexual assault cases. Expand community-focused policing and ensure officers have access to crisis intervention specialists, mental health resources, and advocates so every situation gets the right response.
